Youth Clinic with the world's #1 Handball Competitor: Martin Mulkerrins

In Summer of 2025 Stacey Marble held a class once a week to teach the youth in Cache Valley, Utah the basics of Handball. Last week, many of those youth returned to the campus with excitement to meet one of Handball's greatest competitor's, Martin Mulkerrins.

Martin taught those experienced players a new game that we plan to implement in this summer's course. He was able to give them a few pointers in our short time together. We had several new players attend the clinic, and it was fun to see their excitement about the game.

"The kids were thrilled to have Martin here to teach them more about handball. It is such a thrill to watch them enjoy the game at this age, and to see the skills that are already there," stated Stacey Marble, Handball Coach at USU.

Cache Valley has never had a youth program for Handball, and that's one of the many goals we have here in Logan to help grow the sport. These kids are the future handball generation, if they don't learn and continue to play this game, it dies with us.
